Sooo I’m engaged. 

It’s been almost two months now and I’ve just  landed in being engaged (and staring at my ring). The whole process was such an emotional roller coaster, obviously with happy peaks. But seriously guys how do you stay sane in the whole party planning process? 

We kept the engagement party small with only family. And I got lots of help (diy projects) from my parents. My dad painted the chairs and my mom made my backdrop (a flower "wall"). Even the fiancé , A, (still so weird using that word) helped out. He made block letters that we spray painted gold and displayed on the fire place along with fairy lights. We used lights everywhere.. 

The day was perfect. 

But you know how everyone says that you keep paying attention to small details that are so minor and so pointless but you just can’t get them out of your head? Well, that’ was me.  

Now we need to start planning the katb ktab (ceremony) and wedding reception and I have no idea where to start.  There are so many cute venues and so many months that I can think of for our wedding. 

And the dress! When’s the right time to go dress shopping?

For the engagement I ordered a bunch of dresses and had decided to wear white at first, but that dress was sold out. Then I decided on this cute pink dress and got the cutest shoes and accessories to match (need to upload pictures). One week before the party I received another package but thought that I’d just return it without opening it..

Don’t you guys think that I picked it up, opened it and fell in love with one of the dresses TWO days before my party? 

It was a white dress. 

Obviously I need to be more organized for the wedding.

Also should I start a wedding series?
