Fear is a powerful feeling. It's frightening, but yet you become extremely thankful for what you have..
The fear of losing someone important in my life makes me want to stand on the top of a hill and just scream - scream for days until my voice is compeletely gone and my eyes dry as rocks. But you got to keep your head up and your mouth shut - and be strong for the other people in your life..
This is truly a feeling I wouldn't wish upon anyone.. and I'm not writing all of this to make you guys feel sorry for me. I'm writing it to feel better, to somehow take away some of the fear.
I also should add that I might not blog for a while. I don't want to turn this blog into a depressing downhill rollarcoaster; so I'll stop blogging for a that reason..

» HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!
Today is not an ordinary day because it's my fathers birthday!
I woke up way too early to have a family breakfast and present unwrapping..
Let's just say that the most difficult task, or thing, you can do is finding a perfect gift for the men/guys in your life.. My father in particular since he strongly believes in not having that many clothes.. "You should wear what you have, throw it away and THEN get new things".. So can you guys sense my/our dilemma?
Anyways, happy birthday to my sweet, lovely, caring Dad; I'm very proud to be your daughter.

» FIGURING OUT THE HYPE
Since I'm practically 'free' from uni this week (except for tomorrow and because I've done all my labs), I've been chilling around the house in cute dresses (not joking). But slouching around the house, studying, and not going out to do anything fun can be a bit depressing.. So a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do (LOL) - aka shopping. Or should I say "shopping".. There's only garbage in every store, nothing nice, nothing wearable, nothing interesting or new..
BUT, makeup and nailpolishes are ALWAYS nice! So I got myself three Essie polishes to figure out the hype people have been obsessing about!

» BEFORE I DIE
Cause this is what you do in the middle of the night if you are cool like me (translates to I-can't-bother-to-study-and-I'm-getting-way-too-tired-which-makes-me-very-hyper).

» WHAT I LOVE TO WEAR
Let's face it, we don't all have a huge closet with 1000 tops and a billion pants.. This means that we repeat our outfits, alot! Even though some of you - or I - follow the "one week rule" = don't repeat an outfit you wore on monday on friday and etc. And the two day rule (is there any two day rules?) = don't repeat the same shirt/top/blouse or any particular item you wore yesterday today (even though I don't mind wearing the same pants/jeans that are in a solid color two days in a row).
With all that being said, I really love love love the outfit combo below; printed pants, black blouse and black cardigan (and of course a coat since the sun doesn't like us..).

» MARGIELA X H&M
So, what did I do today? (this was supposed to go up on the Margiela x H&Mrelease).
I searched for the top that I wanted (in the mens section).. And guess what? It wasn't there.. So I assumed that it was sold out.. The lady that worked there told me to check if someone would return it, which made me end up standing outside the mens fitting room, in a desperate wait..
I gave up a few minutes later and went back to the womens section, picked up a book (yes, they sell books.. Or just one book - about fashion. Surprise, surprise..).. After looking around in the womes section, without any luck of finding anything, I thought I'd head back to the mens section one last time. And there it was! Waiting for me - a couple sizes too big, but I couldn't resist getting it anyways since it was the last one.
Way too many pictures of one shirt. But I love it! It's very laid back which means that it can be dressed up (with just throwing on a big necklace), or dressed down with jeans and boots.

» A PEAK INTO MY NEWLY ORGANIZED LIFE
I organized my closet, as I had written it down on my to-do-list of the day..
When I organize my closet, I always end up organizing my whole room, and changing stuff up at my nightstand and my everyday-makeup-area (although I didn't do that this time..)..
So here's a quick peak into my room and closet!
I love the simplicity of a magazine rolled up in a vase - it looks very chic (if I may say so myself).
My current favorite cream and a lipbalm are always resting on my nightstand - because of my awefully
dry lips.. And I added a book I'm currently reading under a silver plate with my everyday jewlery.
My current favorites. Last month I was crazy for everything gold.. But this month I've been rocking my
silver! (LOL at that!).
Fashion Now - is all about fashion.. I love reading and I love fashion - so this is the best of both worlds!
And the best thing? I got it from H&M (yes, they sell books - or one book)..
Ok, so I'm a makeup girl.. And I've epanded my "makeup collection" over the years. I could literally
just take out my nice, glittery eyeshadows and stare at them. They're too pretty to be hidden!
But this area is my go-to makeup (the makeup I wear on an everyday basis). But it needs to be cleared
out and stashed with the rest of the makeup I don't use that often..
The white hangars are killing me.. But I'm out of black ones.. I usually organize my clothes from light
to dark to be able to decide what color to wear easily. And catagorizing looks too messy.
My favorite bracelets in a jewlery-organization-thing that I got for my b-day but haven't used!
That way I can find the things I'm looking for easier - and not throw everything out on my bed to hunt
for a certain bracelet!
Some cocktail rings.
This is a quote I absolutely love! I hang quotes on my mirror - to remind myself of certain stuff and to
put a smile on my dull face (jokes jokes - but it's inspiring to read them every morning!).
My current favorite bags! (and some nicer bags that I can't store with the rest of them!).
Ok, this is cheesier than cheesy.. I hung it behind my dresses (so it can't be seen) last year when I got
it from the BD part 1 premier. I should prooobably take it down, but again, I'm such a child sometimes
that I want to keep it up!
Now I'll head back to the extremely long and boring date with my genetics book..

No sun peeking from my window today, which isn't a pleasant thing..
I woke up from the right side today, so my mood is climbing mount everest (weird joke? yes indeed..).

3. Work on a little project (that I WILL show you!).
4. Face mask, scrub and hair mask.
5. Paint my nails.

Well, that's part of my evil plan - haha! No it's not.. Stop lying Laila! (talking to myself is not retarded at all, is it?).
Anyhow. You know the top I got from Margiela x H&M yesterday? I wore it today hahah - yes, I have a thing where I NEED to wear whatever I got the ext day (or the same, if possible).. When I got to my grandmas house, she immediately told me how nice it was - and when I told her that it's a menswear, she got a bit surprised.
I want more dupes for it - anything similar! A picture of it will be up once I get a proper picture of my top - with the camera and not my phone :P

Good morning lovelies!
It's (almost) the perfect day for a collection (or should I say collaboration?) release! The weather is not too cold - and that, my friends, is always a plus!
Since I have a late lab class, me and my mom thought of going to take a peak of the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration at H&M. I did my homework yesterday; looked for the items I wanted and to get an overview of the collection. Let's just say that it's not my favorite.. They had some nice dresses and gorgeous shoes, but other than that, I was disappointed..
Until, I clicked on the menswear - I fell in love with a top!

» GIFT IDEAS - MOM
Picking out the perfect gift for someone can be very difficult.. And when that special someone is your mother, you want the gift to be special..
When I was younger, I used to get my mother tons and tons of bath bombs, horribly hand-written cards and a tiny flower bouquet that I had plucked. It doesn't sound very fancy, does it? But I believe that a gift comes from the heart; after all, it's the thought that counts!
Since a reader asked me what to get for his/her mom, I thought I'd put together this post.

I usually get my mom a giftbox, filled with body goodies (lotions, scrubs, masks, etc), flowers, perfumes, and the list goes on..
I've also noticed that moms . or my mom - are constantly on the hunt for a black bag (but they never go out there and get one!).. So why don't you get her the perfect black bag? Or a nice lipstick?
Is she's not into makeup, bags and all that stuff, why not get her a cookbook and some candles?
I hope that these gift ideas have helped you - or brought you some inspiration on what to get your mother!

The above is cheesier than cheesy - but thats how it is sometimes!
So, as you might guess from the title (and from other sources), the final movie of the Twilight Saga (Breaking Dawn part 2) is premiering tomorrow! But, being a cool kid (it's a joke), I'm going to the "preview" - Twinight, which basically means that you get to see Breaking Dawn part 1 and 2!
Guess if I'm excited? YES! Hahah, I feel 14 again.. Although I'm excited that I get to see the last movie, I've grown up a lot since I first read the books (13, 14-ish 4 or 5 years ago.. wow, I'm getting old.. Tick tock hahah!).. and I'm not much of a Twilight fanatic now, compared to how I used to be.. Drooling all over Edward.. (Seriously?!).
Anyhow, another part of my life is reaching its end.. First Harry Potter (that I literally grew up with - and I guess that most of you guys in my age did too), and now Twilight.. It's a bit sad, isn't it? To realize that you are growing up - I mean, I'm practically an adult!

IsaDora wonder nail in North Star (749) - on most of my nails.
MaxFactor mini nail polish in Silver (20) - on my ring fingers.
I love the IsaDora wonder nail - nailpolishes. They don't chip after a day (like other nailpolishes that I won't even mention..). I've had this nailpolish on for three days - and so far it's all good!
I might review the IsaDora polishes - since I love them!

» PRETTY IN BLACK
I'm obsessed with black outfits, silver jewlery and simple boots (or oxfords!). Short tops and long cardigans with skinny jeans looks really nice, and effortless.
My fall staple is a nice, long, warm black cardigan, many simple tops - in need of something peplum (!) - basic jewlery and big black bags! Well, I've always been a fan of big, bulky bags haha!
For makeup, I'm going more towards no-shimmer, no-contour, gel liner and lashy eyes - and natural brows! Don't worry though, no uni-brow going on here LOL; but I've stopped getting them done professionally. I actually think that it looks better with natural home-plucked-not-overly-plucked-not-too-perfect brows this time of a year!
With no further do of turning this into a makeup-beauty post, I just wanted to share my go-to outfit this month (or fall!).

» ONE WEEK
It feels like I haven't talked to you guys (not that anyone is replying - so it's more of a monologue hahah!), but here I go!
I went to a Halloween party as Audrey Hepburn (my all time favorite makeup icon - and fashion!).. The
tiara featured in the picture is my grandmas, which kind of gives it a vintage-ish feel. AND she wore it on
her wedding day (yes, I took good care of it!) - a part of it has fallen off (not because of me, but a long time
ago!).. and that's what's left of it..
I helped my aunt and cousin - B - moving! It was FUN decorating and unpacking :D
I fell.. Yes, you read it right. I FELL! Oh I just want to laugh out loud (wow.. that's LOL! lol at that!).. I was
racing to the car - to sit in the front seat.. - and on my way running, I slipped (since the ground was weird),
fell, broke my phone, scraped my chin and hands.. So now I've got a disgusting red scar (not a deep one)
in my chin.. Thank God for makeup! And disgusting hands - painful painful..

That's practically what I've been up to lately - and I've been studying to a huge exam that I had on friday.. Tomorrow is the first day of my new course (genetics) and I have no idea what to wear. Yes, it is a dilemma for me.. Why? Because a first impression is everything. I want something that says 'I'm smart, but I'm not a geek. I'm not trying too much, but I'm not being unfashionable' (is that even a word?).. So I refuse to sleep until I know what to wear!
