» HAPPIEST TIME OF MY LIFE?

Picture from Lundakarnevalen 2018. Went to see Sabina Ddumba and Kaliffa and enjoy student life for the last time.

Guys I can't believe I'm graduating in a week! Well, the ceremony is in a week but my dissertation is in 3 weeks, but still.

6 years of mental breakdowns, juggling part-time jobs, a couple of re-takes, a semester abroad and some super cool nation brunches later I am graduating!

It hasn't been easy. In fact, it has been very challenging, both mentally and physically, with weight gain and weight loss, sleepless nights and 1 am phone calls trying to figure out the correct answer to the journal clubs questions. If I'm being completely honest, 8 times out of 10 I had no idea what I was doing. I never really fit in at Uni and completely hated my second year there, which ended up in me skipping all (not kidding: all!) lectures. Year 3-4 is when I found my place there and figured myself out.

I was 17 when I started (turned 18 20 days later) and had no idea what I was doing or if it was the right course for me. Now I can't imagine myself doing anything else (unless I can travel for a living, in that case I'm lying).

I really don't feel like this is the happiest time of my life. Stressful? Yes. Nervwracking? Yes. But happy? Maybe I'll get into the spirit soon, but either way.
This is the final countdown
(please sing it in your head while you're reading this).

Also, would you guys be interested in a vlog on my graduation day/ceremony?

xox,
Laila
